Distilled in a one refill Bourbon Hogshead in May 1988 and bottled in October 2014 by famed bottlers Douglas Laing as part of their XOP collection, with only 312 bottles made available.
Nose:
Rich honey, bourbon oak, spicy, malty gristiness – dried fruit & a dunnage warehouse style.
Palate:
Even more honey’d, tremendously sweet, barley’d with a smack of oak & late muscovado sugar.
Finish:
All that went before neatly wrapped up in a mid to long attractive finish.
