Combining the extract from superfluous banana peels with rum which is used to finish whisky casks before being thrown away, Discarded have created a sumptuously fruity spirit that’s like liquid banana bread.
On the nose expect warm banana bread and treacle, with notes of dried fruit, toasted cinnamon and rich butterscotch.
To taste you can enjoy rich flavours of banoffee pie and sticky toffee pudding, with deep fruity flavours of milk chocolate raisins and a crystallised ginger finish.
